"Know Her Name" was founded by Ashley Guereque, a survivor who has channeled her personal experiences into helping others. Ashley started her career as a fashion stylist in the entertainment industry, working for 11 years on red carpets, photoshoots, and television shows after attending The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Her career, which she loved, took a devastating turn when she experienced rape and assault. Despite this, Ashley pressed forward, dedicating herself to healing. Through her journey, she discovered the power of connecting with other survivors and found that this connection was the key to her own recovery. With this realization, Ashley created "Know Her Name," a nonprofit aimed at empowering survivors, helping them find their strength, and reminding them that healing is a continuous process

—one that doesn't have to be done alone.
